Happy March ya’ll.
Yup. I said it. Ya’ll. I’m finally claiming the word. After a meager eleven years, this Yankee done been cultured.
I really need to stop writing these at night.
I’m writing this solely for the purpose of updating everyone on my timeline and introducing you to some lovely books, authors, and Kickstarters happening right now. So, grab your spectacles, your cat, and get comfy. Let’s start with shoutouts and recommendations:
Author Spotlight: Lyndsey Lewellen
Lyndsey Lewellen grew up on a healthy dose of comic books, punk music, and sci-fi. She infuses all three loves into novels written for young adults. The Chaos Grid duology is her debut dystopian series set in a futuristic Texas wasteland she hopes will never come to pass.

The Engagement - When inventor Ninna Zoltova, princess in the ice country of Irheim, is sold into an arranged marriage, a monster of a husband is the worst horror she expects at her engagement ball. But the soiree aboard the Dauland naval ship holds deeper and darker secrets below the surface. Secrets that somehow include Ninna's prized invention, a device that allows her to speak to animals. And when deadly sea creatures crash the party, it's up to Ninna to either call off the beasts and save her engagement or risk a watery grave.

Kickstarter is a crowd funding platform that allows patrons to pledge to projects they care about. Each campaign runs for a specific amount of days to reach a pre-determined goal. If the goal isn’t met, the funds aren’t collected. It’s a really great way to get something special from an author you love, or to try something new.
Speaking of…
My campaign is still set to launch in May. I’m prepping for it in the in between times I have while I’m also moving and trying to finish my book. Son of the Stars, the third in the Mothmar trilogy, is back with my editor as I track along behind her in the word document. We’re trying to get this thing ready for a proofread by April.
It’ll be a miracle tbh.
So, if you’re interested in limited editions or finding out more about audiobooks…then make sure you’re following the campaign by clicking the photo below.
But back to my updates…have any of ya’ll moved with 4 kids?!?! How did no one tell me it was so hard? I am so tired. All the time.
Cover reveal soon? Yeah? YEAH! Let’s do it.
Can’t wait to read Son of the Stars! 🙌🏼
Excited for your Kickstarter and thanks for sharing about the Xerus Galaxy Saga!!!
